ORKCA training Canoe camp

This is the Official ORCKA instruction camp.

Drop off:  after 6:00pm on Friday June 12
Pickup: 11:am Sunday June 14
Camping at the lakes in Townsend.  This is private property that the owner graciously allows us to use.

Camping and Canoeing along the Grand.

Drop off: 
9:00am Saturday May 30
Exact launch site TBD, will be available soon
Canoeing from the launch site, camping at the Hunters and Anglers club, then canoeing into town on Sunday.
Pickup TBD depending on how quickly we get on the water, probably around noon.

This camp is being organized by the Scouts who are earning their Leadership award (2nd level).  It is encouraged that scouts contact their Patrol Leaders or Assistant Patrol Leaders for information.  All scouts should be contacted by a PL or APL.

We will be meeting at the range.  If you are sending a scout with another, please make sure we have a signed permission form.  Scouts without a signed form will not be allowed to shoot.

The Dorchester International Brotherhood Camporee

Drop off :  Friday May 8, 6:00pm

Pick up :  Sunday May 10, 11:00 am

Fee: $35.00 ( $24.00 Registration plus $11.00 for food )

Pack according to the weather. 

If the Forecast shows rain, be prepared for rain.

If the Forecast shows lots of sun, sun screen might be a good idea.

We will be setup in sub camp called “Seneca”

Approximately 90 minutes from Caledonia. From Highway #401 (to London) take exit #203, Highway #73 (Elgin Road), and go north (1/2 mile) to Hamilton Road. Turn left and go west (1/4 mile) until you reach the main gate.
