Unfortunately we have not been able to establish a Derby date yet.  The Derby will not be this weekend.

Lightweight backpacker camp chair

This looks like a pretty good light weight camp chair.  I have not tried it, but I have a similar chair and LOVE it

I apologize for the extreme lateness of this info.  I’ve been having some difficulty budgeting this excursion.  As it stands, the cost per camper is $180 and our fundraising gives us $80 each, leaving a total of $100 outstanding each.

The plan is as follows:

• July 14 8:00 AM – Meet in the church parking lot
• 8:30AM – On the road!  -There are enough seats (just!) in the leader vehicles for everyone.  I will be towing the trailer for all personal gear.
• Fun and adventure happens next
• July 18 4:00 PM – return to the church

A few more details:  We need every scout to bring their health card – the leaders will hold them.  We also need a consent form signed for each scout.

I am holding informal info sessions for scouts and parents to discuss any issues anyone may have.  These will be at my house (3 Mac Donald Place).  I know most scouts have other things going on, so drop in on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this week any time after 7.  This is a good time to sign forms and drop off payment.
